Phenolic resins

Phenolic resins have a long tradition dating back to 1907, when the first synthetic compound was produced. It has enabled unprecedented progress for mankind and opened the door to countless innovations that have enabled people to live as we know them today.

Phenolic resins protect our homes from cold, heat, humidity, noise and mildew, and in general allow us to reduce energy consumption. Not only do they enable our mobility in traffic, ensuring our safety, but they also have a positive impact on the fuel consumption of vehicles and reduce emissions from all types of internal combustion engines. They also enable food to be grown in non-traditional environments and reduce water consumption, and they enable the wood industry to use renewable resources efficiently and sustainably. Phenolic resins are also used in the metal industry, which “powers” everyday life in a wide variety of ways. They are also an indispensable part of the electrification of modern society and the construction of the necessary networks and, in this sense, an indispensable element in the fight against climate change. Phenolic resins are all around us and are involved in all levels of our lives.
